The Concrete Jungle | New York City

Wow, just wow… I can’t put into words how amazing our days were in NYC. We were only there for a few days but it felt like weeks.

The hotel we stayed in was just beautiful and the views… 😍

We took advantage of every single minute. We walked through Central Park 3 times, went to the Met Museum, strolled through China Town and ate pizza in Little Italy.

We saw the famous flatiron building, the 911 memorial, went to the top of the One World Trade, and to the top of the Empire State Building.

We took the subway for the first time. We went under the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Manhattan Bridge.

We saw my favorite musical “Chicago” on Broadway and Brandy was Roxie. 🎵

We went to times square and experienced that hot mess of an area and walked down park Avenue.

We woke up super early one morning and took the 3 hour Best of NYC cruise, which was incredible…

We visited Wall Street and saw the New York Stock Exchange and the charging bull. We saw the Statue of Liberty, the Chrysler building, St Paul’s Chapel, the Belvedere Castle and Trinity Church. We walked through Madison Square Park and Washington Square Park, and walked across the high line.

We had pasta at the infamous Carmine’s, got honked at 638 times, ate too many hot dogs, and walked soooo many miles.

Then on my last full day in the city I experience Grand Central Station, which was amazing and then after riding the subway in to Queens, saw the most amazing, phenomenal concert of my life. Lady Gaga was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

So thankful to have been given the chance to experience everything I did.
I definitely understand why Alicia Keys said “New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of”… We already want to go back!
