Sunshine, cold beer, and fast cars. What more could a guy want?
Every year Paul looks forward to the St. Pete Grand Prix. If you aren’t familiar, the grand prix is an IndyCar Series race held in Downtown St. Petersburg and has served as the season opener since 2009. (I totally Googled that)
The race itself takes place on a temporary course they build by blocking off streets and two runways of Albert Whitted Airport. It’s pretty involved and takes a few weeks to set up the track.
This was my second year going to this event and let me tell you… it’s amazing. This year, we actually LIVE downtown and we could see the race from our freaking couch! Wow! Just Wow!
