How did this happen??
One hundred days until I have a husband. One hundred days until I am someone’s wife!
It has never felt so real until now.
The craziest part of all is… in one hundred days, Paul and I are going to try to start our very own family! Even as I type those words, my eyes well up with tears.
There is still so much to do and so much to plan. But honestly, I am enjoying every single second of it and I wouldn’t trade this feeling for anything.
As far as the wedding goes, my bridesmaids are planning a secret bachelorette party for me! Eeekkkk! It’s been so hard for me to let go and give up control and actually let someone do something special for me… but I am counting down the days and CAN NOT WAIT!
My cousin Nikki is flying in early and her and I are going shopping for her dress and she might take some boudoir photos for me. Bow chicka wow wow.
Speaking of getting half-naked to take uncomfortable photos. My body is NOWHERE NEAR where I’d like it to be… what the HELL am I going to do?! The wedding is 100 days away and I still have about 30 lbs to lose!! I’m sick to my stomach thinking about it.
But here’s the thing. I have been killing myself in the gym, eating whole foods, monitoring my portions and getting plenty of rest. Metabolism… why are you failing me now? When I need you more than ever!
Losing weight has been such a struggle for me lately. It’s definitely not the same as it was before. I remember being able to lose 10 lbs in a week just by cutting out bread and pasta…. Now I have to eliminate all carbs, stop drinking wine, do two hours of cardio every day and even then… the scale barely budges…
I have been doing strict Keto since 9/23/19. That means ZERO cheat meals, and I plan to continue until the Bachelorette Party. That gives me 35 more days to lose as much weight as I can so I can be confident and sexy for my weekend out with the girls and for my photoshoot with Nikki!

Other than that, wedding planning has been super fun and we’re almost done! I have been working on my custom wedding invitations for about a month now and I think I am about to get my first sample soon! – That has really been the hardest part of all because I’m super picky and want them to be absolutely perfect. Not a bridezilla at all here…
Paul and I still have to go suit/tux shopping to figure out what he and the groomsmen will wear. We have to pick out and order his wedding ring and finalize the flowers/wedding centerpieces. We need to pick out gifts for the wedding party, take a few dance lessons, order our chair/table rentals and I still need to pick out all of my accessories. I need to DIY a few décor items, find a few makeup artists for all of my bridesmaids and figure out how I want to do my hair/makeup for the big day….
Ok, now I’m overwhelmed.
And in addition to all of the typical wedding planning tasks, Paul and I also have to completely uproot our backyard and do some landscaping since we decided we wanted to have our rehearsal dinner out there.
So much to do, and less than 100 days to do it.
Wish me luck!
